Beatrix the diary maid and her favorite cow, Gerda, are kidnapped by two rude giants who intend to eat Gerda for dinner. Unfortunately for the giants, Beatrix has a few tricks up her sleeve. Watercolor, gauche, and colored pencil illustrations accompany the text.
