In this story set in the 1730s a four-year-old boy, the son of English settlers in the Hudson River Valley, is stolen from his family by the Mohicans. Treated with kindness by the Mohicans, he is given a new family and a new name, Echohawk. The boy eventually forgets his early life, becomes an expert hunter, and passes through his coming-of-age vision quest. Then, his Mohican father sends him to be schooled by the white settlers. In this new situation, Echohawk finds himself remembering his past and discovers that he will have to choose the path of his future--the world he was raised in or the world of his ancestors.

Out of Bengal and the Hindu spiritual tradition comes a Nobel prize-winning mystical poet whose time for broad, popular acceptance has come. William Butler Yeats fell in love with these poems almost a 100 years ago, the Nobel Committee honored them with their literature prize in 1913 and just recently The Utne Reader cited Tagore as one of today's most overlooked spiritual writers.
This new edition
is important because its lyrical translation has been made from Tagore's original Bengali and because it makes the
entire collection of 157 Gitanjali, or song offerings available to a wider audience for the first time. Rabindranath Tagore wrote with the insight and emotion that so characterizes Kahlil Gibran, with the mystical passion that has made Jalaluddin Rumi so popular and with a simplicity and depth that remains fresh and attractive to today's seekers.

Acne (DVD) » Acne (DVD)

Director Rusty Nails illustrious career has seen him at the helm of movies such as BLOOD DRINKERS, ANIMATED CORPSE and SANTIAGO VS. WIGFACE. Never one to shirk from a little violence and sex, Rusty's latest epic is ACNE, which tells the sorry tale of a bunch of teenagers who transform into zombies. Franny (Tracey Hayes) and Zooey (the ubiquitous Rusty Nails) are the first to undergo the transformation when they drink some contaminated water. With puss oozing from their every pore, the duo head off on a suburban adventure, where they infect fellow teens, develop a craving for chocolate, and get hunted down by the military. Nails proves his B-movie chops by paying not-so-subtle tributes to films such as RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, and many other films with the word dead in the title, while a vibrant punk rock soundtrack provides an appropriate backdrop to the carnage, with Devo, The Dead Kennedys, and The Lunachicks all featuring heavily throughout.DVD Features:Region (unknown)Keep CaseFull Frame - 1.33
